Sockit Studio specializes in recording and mixing. We also offer mastering, voice over recording, podcast recording, and phone patch capabilities. For clients needing production assistance, we offer in-house production through our in-house engineers and have relationships with outside producers and session players. Using our HUE lighting system, we can seamlessly work with your photographer and videographer to capture the look you want for your session, listening party, birthday party, or special event.

I’ve recorded 6 albums going back to 2013 with Devon & his team. They have been, without exception, remarkably knowledgeable, accommodating & professional. I live in Los Angeles now but I returned to Sockit to record, mix and master my most recent project— if that isn’t a testimony to the quality of their work & atmosphere in their studios, I don’t know what is.

I love the music I recorded at Sockit Studio with Devon Kirkpatrick! He has top of the line equipment and his mastering skills are extraordinary. Every radio station I submitted my music to was impressed with the quality of my recordings because they are not used to indie artists having songs that are mastered just as well as major label artists. I live in Atlanta now and I am traveling back to Baton Rouge to record with him again. You can’t beat the quality of a recording and mastering session with Devon. He’s the best!

I was an apprentice under Devon he was very professional, loved how he was in tuned to what sound a client would like. Both Engineering and Musical wise. Thanks Devon, for making (in light of 7 MTV crew on us the whole time!), what could have been a very stressful session so enjoyable…. technically the studio was certainly up to the mark (David and I kept thinking we were in N.Y.!) but I was particularly impressed with the creative environment…. chilled and very conducive to writing as well as recording, which was essential to us getting some really strong ideas down for Nick’s [Lachey] record. Also, please thank the assistants for me… they knew exactly what we needed, in terms of space and errands…. we couldn’t have asked for more mate!!!
